Taman Tasik Metropolitan Kepong is the largest recreational park in Kuala Lumpur. It is located on the north side of Kuala Lumpur. The total area of ​​this park is 218.8 acres filled with green landscape, leisure equipment, rest, open space and a wide lake.


Among the facilities provided in this park are such as the Boat House and Jetty for water activities, especially for the involvement of uniformed bodies such as the DBKL Enforcement, Fire Department, related associations to practice endurance skills in the water such as 'boating', scuba, kayaking etc. Also available are changing rooms and public toilets at Rumah Sampan.


In addition, 3.5km of footpaths are available for shared use for cycling, jogging and walking. Recreational exercise equipment is provided for visitors who like to do healthy activities and exercise. Each recreational exercise equipment is equipped with a specific exercise guide such as exercises for the lower body, upper body, abdomen, cardio and so on.


Facilities for children's play equipment such as integer play sets, surfboards, swings, seesaws, climbing equipment and so on are available for use by children aged 2 to 12 years. The use of play equipment by children must be under the supervision of parents and guardians.


There are 3 lookout towers have been built in Taman Tasik Metropolitan Kepong. It was built for visitors to appreciate and observe the beauty of the park from a high level. Visitors will be able to see the entire park from the top of the observation tower and take photos from this level.


There is an amphitheater open stage area that has been built for visitors to do various open activities especially for the organization of programs and performances. Terraced benches are provided for visitors to be able to sit and see the amphitheater openly.


A field is also provided for visitors who wish to play football or other related sports events. The field area is also close to the parking area to make it easier for users to do related events.


For those who are interested in organizing 'outdoor' activities such as Family Day activities, Photography and others, can make reservations through the Landscape and Recreation Development Department (Mr. Fairuz at 011-28133769).


The park is open from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm every day. Visitors are expected to comply with the 2012 Park Bylaws to ensure the comfort of all.
